The Food and Beverage Industry is one that has the opportunity to benefit from the intersection of unique local assets and national upward trends to put Rhode Island on the map.
Industries involved in “purchased meals and beverages” grew from $1.6 billion to just under $1.8 billion.
Jobs in food services and drinking establishments grew by 10 percent.
Jobs in food and food-related occupations grew by 9.3 percent.
Jobs in accommodation and food services are projected to continue to grow by 12.3 percent by 2022.
